Many first time SR20DET owners receive their motor with missing or removed items. They may not know where certain pieces go and this is the same for turbo lines. The hardlines can be difficult to route because it can start to look like a maze to some people. We have created this guide so that people using stock hardlines or aftermarket braided lines can make installation easier. The engine below is pictured for the S13 SR20DET. S14 & S15 SR20DET engines have will have the Coolant Return Line to the Radiator Water Neck
Install the valve guide in the cylinder head. Measure the gap between the Valve Stem to Valve guide. The required gap is listed below. Please make the necessary adjustments to meet this specification. Intake Side: 0.03mm to 0.04mm Exhaust Side: 0.04 to 0.05mm
This is a picture from the Drive Shaft Shop input shaft. These specs work only on the S13 & S14 transmission, and applies to both KA & SR20 RWD. You can also use a clutch alignment tool from the same car to test the splines.
